Phoenix Aviation is a CAA Declared Training Organisation (DTO), located in the Control Tower at Solent Airport Daedalus, Lee-on-the-Solent. Our excellent facilities on the second floor command superb views across the airfield. We operate the very popular and reliable Piper PA28 aircraft. At just £195 per hour 'wet' for one of our four, very well equipped Warrior IIs our solo hire rates are extremely hard to beat. As a DTO we provide flying tuition, groundschool and ground exams for the Private Pilots Licence (PPL) and National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL) at equally modest rates. We also provide advanced training for the IMC and Night Rating. As a taster for what it's like to fly a light aircraft, our Trial Lessons start at just £169 in the PA28. Solent Airport, a licensed airfield, is fast becoming the place to fly from on the South Coast, with an ever-growing fleet of home-based aircraft.
